Meet the founder
Joachim Gutierrez
A Lufkin, Texas entrepreneur who started selling sneakers as a 13-year-old freshman — not knowing how far it would take him.
Age 13
The hallway hustle
A high school freshman selling sneakers in the hallways and locker rooms — a side hustle that quickly turned into something bigger.
After graduation
The mobile store
One of the largest mobile sneaker stores in the area — over 200 pairs sold in a single day.
Months later
The first store
TX Pro Kicks opens its first physical store in Lufkin. The community shows up.

Outgrown
The first location is already too small. Next move: a 2,500-square-foot store in Downtown Lufkin.
Grand opening
1,000+ people
Over 1,000 people came out, 200 to 300 items sold in one day, and multiple local news stations covered it.
“After we did those numbers, I realized, ‘OK, I think it's time for me to level up.’”
“The mobile store … made it known that I'm not just a random kid — I'm a real-life business owner.”
